Job Description

SME with existing frameworks and design/engineering. Implement global resilient, next GEN cloud native frameworks and hybrid cloud business models using containerization/orchestration and funcition based technologies. Posses advanced cloud base network troubleshooting capabilities. Design and implement Zero Trust security posture. Ability to work with and deploy DEVOPS, DEVSECOPS and continuous integration/development (CI/CD) pipelines such as GitLab within orchestration or other cloud vender fabric. Ability to work with multiple cloud vendors and private cloud industry solutions such as Kubernetes, AWS, Azure and OCI. Ability to work with and deploy cloud package managed systems such as YUM Repos and WSUS within the hybrid cloud framework

  • AWS, with a strong background in IAM policy and permission boundaries including implementation experience and communications skills.
  • Terraform, both using and authoring modules and providers in Go.  Terraform Enterprise and Vault Enterprise a big plus.
  • Python, particularly PyTest; JUnit testing may also be needed.
  • Developing, shipping, sustaining applications in OCI containers and Kubernetes (primarily EKS).
  • Familiarity with the RMF process, NIST800-53, and some experience with building and accrediting systems in the gov't space.
  • JSON, XML manipulation, validation, schema reading and authoring.
  • GitLab, particularly building, using, versioning, refining and sustaining complex, multilayered GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working in the customers UWE, EVO, and probably WANDS-U environments. Some of the work may require public interaction (e.g. participating on/in NIST's public GitHub) if that has any (e.g. ITAR) entanglements. Some "GO" skills needed also.
Requirements
  • Within the most experience being no more then (1.5) years past, a minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in programming with at least one (1) objective-oriented language such as but not limited to Java, Python, C++, or Go, Or Ten (10) years’ experience Building large platforms be integrating open source or commercial software together with automatic script. 
  • ​​​​​​​Demonstrating experience designing and developing applications in Linux operating environment. 
  • Three (4) years of functional experience in containerization technology like Docker. 
  • Two (6) years functional experience deploying applications to containers orchestration technologies but not limited to Kubernetes. 
  • An additional two (2) years of experience maybe substituted for all the minimum requirements listed above with an active Certified Kubernetes administration status. This may stack may be stacked with active CKA status.
  • An additional two (2) years of experience maybe substituted for all the minimum requirements listed above with an active Certified Kubernetes Developers status. This may stack may be stacked with active CKA status.
  • An additional six (6) months of experience may be substituted for all minimum requirements listed above with a status of an Open-Source project maintainer in open industry.
